Today, we present the “A Challenge in My School” educational program. As it is customary during our last crossings, we have at heart to set up actions in schools. As a reminder:

6 weeks to complete the collective sports challenge
A 6-week sport-health workshop, towards the realization of a collective sport challenge. 2 weekly sessions are offered, the duration of which varies between 30 and 45 minutes. Each week, a new theme is addressed:
- Notion of challenge, what is it and why do it?
- Preparation for the collective challenge in class.
- Physical preparation and training.
- The benefits of a healthy diet.
- Managing stress and emotions through mental preparation
Each session is divided into 4 parts:
-Discover the themes of the week through a video
-Explanation of the concepts / learning of the corresponding vocabulary
-Setting in motion and collective physical practice
-A short routine of breathing, stretching and meditation to calm down.
What is in the case?
The case is composed of a user’s guide, pedagogical sheets, a USB key with all the digital supports. There is also an award for the class and awards for each child but also an intervention of the Cap Optimist rowers to launch the project and share a moment with the children.
Challenges for 2022-2023:
28 schools, more than 80 classes will realize a collective sports challenge during the school year. A kit spread all over the world, with Polynesian and Peruvian classes.
