Saturday, July 3, 2021, during the big DEFI DAY party, the waterwomen’s collective announced the new crazy challenge of an 8000km expedition on a paddle board with the strength of their arms. More than a simple sporting expedition, this project is global:
– A sporting expedition: the crossing of the South Pacific Ocean from Peru to French Polynesia, a distance of nearly 8,000 km on a paddleboard, using only the strength of your arms.
A new global challenge never before attempted!
– A program for sick children: installation of equipment and Optimist bubbles in the heart of health establishments + individualized accompaniment of children and adolescents at the end of cancer treatment
– An educational program in schools “A challenge in my school” based on a 6-week cycle around sports, mental preparation, nutrition and well-being +
– Scientific research around the Pacific Ocean
– A medical research project is being designed with the CERS Capbreton
