Logbook – Day 4<\/strong> by LUCE<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

Here we are again on this beautiful catamaran in the opposite direction and hardly arrived in Lima after having flirted, during the convoying, with the winds of the Antarctic. <\/span><\/p>\n

What a pleasure to be on board with the waterwomen and the whole new crew! Today is a day of celebration. It’s the birthday of Timothy, the captain’s first mate, who for the occasion has prepared his specialty, a chocolate mousse… divine.<\/p>\n

I am fully aware since three days and some 150 nautical miles of the chance to accompany these champions that I discover along the currents. Some of them like to row downwind and during our shifts discuss. Others prefer to be in music and somewhat away. <\/span><\/p>\n

What an incredible will to take turns and move forward at every hour of the day and night on their board with the strength of their arms while they are not yet all moored! What a mind! <\/span><\/p>\n

What a pleasure to be able to treat them with such a variety of fresh supplies. Thank you Newrest! Yes, thanks to all the partners! <\/span><\/p>\n

As team members, we have all been spoiled to join this beautiful human adventure. Thank you Air Tahiti nui for the offer of tickets without which I would not be here. <\/span>Thank you Av\u00e8ne, thanks to whom we will also be able to take care of ourselves in the sun of these next months. Thank you Roxy and Quiksilver who adorn us with their beautiful colors. Green, tint of hope for our outfits that warm on this Ocean that we cross for these young loved ones deprived of good health. All of them accompany us with their thoughts. <\/span><\/p>\n

The screams of the sea lions on the first night were impressive. Especially for the two youngest rowers. <\/span><\/p>\n

As I write these lines, a dolphin is also with us. Yes, what a beautiful adventure and what a privilege to share these 8000 kms to come on Noum\u00e8ne.<\/p>\n

I take advantage of this short daily for a dedication to Mathilde and Louan, Jonn-Arild and Maddy<\/p>\n
