An evening around CAP OPTIMIST took place at La Brasserie La Trinquet in<\/b> Soorts Hossegor, on December 2nd, as part of the TELETHON<\/strong> actions.<\/span><\/p>\n We wanted, above all, to warmly thank the City of Hossegor<\/strong> for the organization of this beautiful evening, for the provision of the place and for all the actions carried out during this weekend of Telethon.<\/span><\/p>\n Last conference, or rather first goodbyes…<\/span><\/p>\n An evening rich in emotions since the waterwomen presented the course of their expedition in front of the hundred or so people present, recounted the final preparations, described the course of this crazy expedition and also presented the crew. It was also the moment to say goodbye to the public that has been following the project for several months, to invite them to believe in them and in their dreams and to give them an appointment in April to share this wonderful adventure.<\/span><\/p>\n This Telethon evening was also the occasion for us to draw the lots of our crazy contest in partnership with Air Tahiti Nui, the Manava Beach Resort and Spa and the Kontiki Boutique Hotel <\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n This expedition is also a story of sharing, family and generosity to raise funds. A few weeks ago, the team launched a contest: much more than a trip (the winner gets two plane tickets offered by Air Tahiti Nui and 6 nights in our partner hotels: the Manava Beach Resort in Moorea and the boutique hotel KON TIKI in Tahiti), the lucky winner drawn in front of Maitre Junqua, bailiff, will be the official reporter of the expedition, upon arrival.<\/span><\/p>\n This is how Nicole Godeau<\/strong> became the lucky winner of this sublime contest. She had promised her friend, Marie Domercq<\/strong> (a volunteer in the project) to take her on board if she won thanks to her one kilometer purchase. Our two funny ladies will assist the expedition leader in the organization of the arrival, will embark on the boat for the last meters of rowing and will meet with a lot of pride and emotions the whole CAP OPTIMIST community.<\/span><\/p>\n There is no chance, our two winners are the reflection of kindness, benevolence andaltruism<\/b>.
