Over 140 people with illnesses followed-through and many sporting challenges achieved in 4 years as well as raising awareness to over 5000 people.<\/p>\n
The association created in 2015 ,recognised as being of general interest and presided over by St\u00e9phanie Geyer Barneix along with Alexandra Armand Le Mou\u00ebl accompany people during and after treatment of chronic illness, through sport, to a better way of living.<\/p>\n
Each Optimist takes up a sporting challenge (over the course of at least one year) with the aim of rebuilding self-confidence and bringing their friends and family along on the adventure.<\/p>\n

But moreover, having overcome breast cancer 4 times, she is an adventurer of life. Stephanie has pushed herself to the limit on each crossing as if it were her last. She has confronted the difficulties to show that nothing is impossible.<\/span><\/p>\n Her resilience has enabled her to go the whole way on her expeditions despite her state of health, because for her, giving up was inconceivable.<\/p>\n In creating the association Hope Team East, she has allowed so many people living with illness to hang on to a sports challenge in preparing for it mentally and physically. These people of all ages, whilst focussing on the aim of their challenge, rediscover their bodies through this preparation whether physical or mental.
